Does using the Vest make your Reflux worse?

I have been using the Vest, and was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia. I think I heard somewhere that it could possibly make reflux worse. Does anyone have this issue??

I use a vest once a day while I'm doing my saline treatment. I also have a small hiatal hernia with reflux. Because I have a sore rib on the lower right side I don't buckle the last strap, which helps with the rib pain. I have no trouble with reflux during or after using the vest, but I'll definitely keep it in mind.
