@jfn I’ve done PT twice, including cranial sacral, the 2nd round exacerbated symptoms. I do appreciate your reply and suggestions. You’re very lucky to have gotten relief.
Did you go to a PT that does CST or a specific therapist trained in Cranial Sacral Therapy, there is a difference, it is not PT. The difference is similar to a primary care doctor and a neurosurgeon.
I do not mean to be snarky, but there is a huge difference!
I actually have seen the neurosurgeon for this and will need surgery, trying to put it off.

No, I don't. However, I have back pain, and it sometimes goes into my buttocks and thighs area. I have started going to a Chiropractor and it is helping a lot. Have you ever seen a Chiropractor? It might be helpful to go to one. The one I am seeing has deep compression and red-light therapy, roller tables and the TENS unit. They gave me exercises to do as well at home. All Chiropractors are different, as they use different techniques for adjustments and have different equipment in their office. There are even specialists in the Chiropractic field too. Have you tried acupuncture or acupressure massage? Those might be worth exploring for your pain. Have you been to an Orthopedic Dr. about it? There is nerve blocks, not sure if that would work for your pain or not. I have knee pain and they are going to do a nerve block on my knee, which will deaden the nerves and tell my brain, there's no pain there. Hoping it will work, will never know till I get it done. There's also alternative type Dr's too. Hope you find something that will help your pain.
Yup. I did a little stretching last night then went grocery shopping today. Got a SHARP pain in my hip a little while ago. Think I over did it. Ibuprofen and a heating pad for me tonite.
There are videos available online of the stretches you can do. Just be careful that it IS sciatica. I messed up my lumbar for several days a few years back because I couldn’t tell the pain was coming from my lower back and pelvis and not from my sciatica.
Alternating ice and heat are really good.
4 years ago I had Caudal Steroid Epidural injection, it worked great for me - lasted almost a year. More importantly it gave me a sense of security so I could rake the yard or put on underwear without fear of ending up in the ER. I now get them every year.

@animallover25 That sounds like sciatica.
