Does anyone have any experience with MEIBO (PF) drops for dry eyes?
I've tried many suggestions from several ophthalmologists for my dry eyes, which started after Cataract surgery.
My current ophthalmologist at Mayo Clinic has suggested Meibo drops. She sent the Rx to BlinkRX, and with my insurance, it's $627!

There aren’t many options. Walgreens stopped making their store brand ointment, which was my favorite and least expensive out there. I can’t find Walmart brand anymore either.
There are now two other options. Of the two other options, they are both expensive. I think they are made by the same company. Just different name on the box. It worries me that they have a monopoly on this product. If they encountered a problem with their plant, there is no backup. Many people would suffer, including myself.
It’s so expensive, I can’t afford to build a supply to keep on hand. I cut back a little recently and paid the price with considerable pain. I have Salzman’s nodules, as well and it further aggravates the dry eye.
@mazel47 I’ve also been using blink RX with $0 copay until last month so I’m appealing my insurance because I can’t afford $1,100 a month being disabled. I have Sjogren’s and these are the best eye drops so far because they’re more of an oily eye drop and then I use a gel drop at night.
