Does anyone else wake up every hour, after 3 am?
I sleep pretty well, without drugs, from 10:30 pm to about 2 or 3 am. And I am very thankful for that. But then, I wake up every hour, usually after a dream. I finally get out of bed around 6 am but I don't feel really refreshed. I might take a nap later in the day. But I am frustrated with the hourly wakings after 2 or 3 am.

I have frequent awakenings, but I still feel energetic the next day. Not sure how long that’ll last though. I will sleep straight through if I take a small dose of antianxiety med, but that’s not ideal. I suspect this is from post covid syndrome. Can’t be sure
If you can't fall asleep within about 30 minutes because your mind is racing through interesting or tough thoughts, rise and do something....anything. Avoiding screen time is ideal, but....ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Try returning to bed before it gets light, especially if you begin to yawn and feel relaxed. Ensure quiet, wear earplugs, keep the room cool and dark....the usual prescriptions for good sleep.
For those who don't already know, your digital device screen can be altered automatically at a time you set to reduce the output of blue light. Enter settings, display, and find the setting to decide how much of the blue to reduce...there'll be a slide or something for you to set...and when it should happen, and for how long. I set mine at 2100 hrs.
