Do your yeast infections look different after cervix is removed?
I'm four months post-total surgical menopause. I don't tend to get the typical discharge anymore with my yeast infections. But I also don't have a cervix anymore. Does anyone know if not having a cervix means you don't get discharge (as much or any) like you used to?

Hi @blueskies1530 - According to Mayo Clinic, yeast infections are caused by a fungal growth inside the vagina, so it doesn't sound removal of the cervix would necessarily affect the type of discharge, but your doctor would be able to tell you. I find that my doctor can often give me helpful information based on what she's seen anecdotally.
