Hello @maryrhyne98 and welcome to Mayo Connect. I certainly appreciate you looking advocating for your family member who was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer. I'm assuming that the oncologist knows that the lung cancer represents metastasis?

Here are a few conversations on Connect which might be helpful to you:

–Bladder cancer recurrence: What are the treatment options?
–Bladder cancer treated with gemcitabine 3 dose
–Diagnosed with renal masses on both kidneys, how long do I wait?
I would also like to invite @gingerw and @nang to this discussion.

You do not mention the age of your family member nor what the oncologist has suggested as treatment. As you are comfortable doing so, will you provide some more details?
