First and foremost: this is a question you should be asking a hematologist/oncologist with experience in treating monoclonal gammopathies, not a support group of patients. Your results are diagnostic of a MG of some type and severity.

Second, absent from your reported labs is perhaps the most important single one - a bone marrow biopsy. Please see that hem/onc.

A bone marrow biopsy is not always necessary with MGUS. Of course you should rely upon your hematologist/oncologist to help you make that decision.

@wesleym I agree. We are not doctors here. The OP needs to establish a relationship with her doctor so she can feel free to ask him/her any questions, *especially* when it comes to interpreting blood lab tests, BMBs, or anything else related to her disease or abnormal test results.

Put these results in chatGPT. I have smoldering multiple myeloma & it is a wonderful tool to have.
I would say your MGUS according to your results. I had a bone marrow biopsy BMB & had 10% plasma cells that put me as SMM.

@wesleym I'm scared to death of the possible results so I'm avoiding it praying these test results go away. Getting 2nd bld test somewhere else to confirm or deny results bef I get BMB.😱😭🙏🙀

With all due respect, hoping that test results "go away" is not the best way of dealing with them. Your labs show not one, but multiple abnormalities, which (as I wrote before) are diagnostic for a monoclonal gammopathy of some type and severity. Would you want confirmation of the results before starting treatment? Of course. Before seeing a hem/onc? Not so much. And chatGPT is no substitute.

Only rational advice: see a hem/onc ASAP.

@barbarian1, I can imagine you're scared. It's only natural to be scared and to hope that you'll wake up and find it was all just a bad dream.

But I see you are taking things seriously. No matter how afraid you might be, you know that this has to be faced and you've booked a second blood test to confirm the results of the first. Then, equipped with information and in consultation with your hematologist, you will know what next steps to take.

You can do this. We're here to journey virtually with you.

@barbarian1 I noted that in a post in the Cancer group you credited prayer with this blood analysis being gone.
While I support looking for cure through faith, we partner with science and hope that it will give us some answers and will restore us to health. I suspect that’s why we sign into Connect, to get vetted, data driven information and emotional support from others with a similar diagnosis.
Sadly, the paraprotein in my blood will not spontaneously go away so I rely on my hematologist/oncologist to guide me on this medical journey.
Talk to your doctor. If you have to wait a long time, ask for a telehealth appointment or a phone call. You need answers that we, as lay people who are not physicians, cannot give you.
Will you make that call then let me know how it goes?
