Has anyone had issues with their mouths being especially dry and their tongues sensitive to any food touching it?

@hopeful33250 Hi there I have been unable to participate for a few month due to health reasons so I would like to reintroduce myself. I am a 67 year old who was misdiagnosed 20 plus years ago with Essential Tremors and diagnosed about 2 years ago with early onset Parkinson's . I just recently 3 weeks ago went off the Vyalev pump and trying to transition back to oral medication and have been really struggling. I do hope to share and learn how others have dealt with these issues.

@wkrebs59 That's very unfortunate, How long did you have your pump and what motivated you to change. I have had mine for about 2.5 years. It came out in the EU in January 2024, a bout 9 months sooner than in the US.I absolutely love mine. I was taking so many oral meds that I had 8 pillings a day and had to fast 1 hour before and 1 hour after taking a pill. There never was a time in the day when I wasn't fasting, exceeept for when I was gobling mdown smothing to eat when I could stat tarving again for another pi ll. I'm surious as to what factors led you to th is decision. I'm particularly interested in whether it had anything to do with infection at your injections site. This is the reason that most folks give up heir pumps. My Neurologist is doing smse research to figure out what causes it. and I've been helping her a little bit.We recently came up with a few ideas of what causes it and how to fix it, which would be a pretty big sstep for those who have experiencd this problem.
