Cymbalta is its Oxycodone 5 mg

Can you provide more information on what you would like to know from us? Have you been on oxycodone for pain? Neuropathy? Did your doctor recently prescribe Cymbalta (duloxetine) for pain? Are you wondering about the interaction between these two medications and if so this is a good question to ask your prescribing physician?

Hi Helen, I’m not sure how my Post got so mixed up but the actual situation is I’ve been taking 5 mg of oxycodone three times a day and I’m just starting out on Cymbalta 30 mg twice a week. I’m wondering if anybody has experience this situation and the results of the combination of these two drugs I’ve been on the oxycodone for 40 years.
The Cymbalta was prescribed for anxiety, and I have discussed this with my prescribing physician. I just wondered if anybody had experienced the side effects themselves.

I was prescribed Oxycodone for endometrial pain and then continued after my first heart transplant, I have had two heart transplants and I have post anatomy pain syndrome. I’ve been on oxycodone for 40 years. I would like to know if I should be taking Cymbalta as well as oxycodone I find it. I am very sleepy and tired and I wonder if it’s from the oxycodone withdrawal between doses. I am on 3. 5mg tabs a day.
