Is anyone taking Creatine to address fatigue (or other) issues? If so, which one and what dosage? Any ill effects?

I started a few weeks ago due to muscle weakness and loss of stamina, still too early to tell. I have had no side effects.
5 mg. before exercise.

Inquired about Creatine with family doctor and Rheumatologist and both said the same thing:
No evidenced based science to support use of the supplement, but one may be some see benefit from the "placebo effect".
Or better said "wouldn't have seen it unless I believed it"!
so decided to keep the money in my pocket rather than in the store's till.
Will stick to the anti inflammatory diet .
Seems to be working.

age 71. I have tapered down from 20 mg to .5 mg and should be completely off Prednisone on June 2. A nearly 2 year adventure.

Yes indeed! We are all "blueprints" of PMR and how it plays out in a sundry of manner.
What one benefits from another does not. We each must find our own path. I micromanage my own dosage and symptomology of PMR. The "Body Keeps Score" indeed. (Van Der Kolk).
Do not dismiss functional medicine or anything there in. There are many paths to wellness and healing.
I wish you the best in this regard.
Warmest,
Patricia

3 mg daily in pre-workout drink.

5 mg. daily here. I also add a teaspoon of D-Ribose sugar which also helps.
