I have a sore throat when I wake up and think it is from having air blown down my throat all night. Does that sound correct? Does anyone else have this issue?
Thanks @danab , I use a similar mask made by Resmed. What do you do if you wake up at night and want to drink? I keep a bottle next to my bed, and slide the cushion up above my nose so I can take a sip. Will I have to remove the mask and chin strap?
@gramps I don't drink a lot at night but have a few times and it wasn't a problem just lifting the nose part. I also on occasion have drank from.a straw mostly when I was in the hospital when usually the drinks came in a cup.
The chin strap being elastic will allow opening Your mouth to take a drink.
The only thing that works for me is sleeping with a lozenge in my mouth. I buy TheraBreath dry mouth at Walmart $8 for a box of 100. I use 2-3 every night.
Aren't you in danger of choking? There is a product to spread around inside your mouth. Available through dentist or pharmacy. Sympathize with you have a similar issue.
