COPD reversed according to recent test
Hello,
I had my last pulmonary function test in July and my number was 84. The doctor said that from 80+ it’s normal. It used to be 66. But I still have shortness of breath if I speed my walking a little, if I exert myself. Etc. He said to keep exercising and would check me in six months.
I have heard that COPD is irreversible, can you tell me something about this? Have you experienced still having shortness of breath despite the numbers, improving? If so, can you give me some advice?
Thank you

I was hoping I would be able to say the same thing. I am starting to worry now because I developed G.I. problems and some sort of weather intolerance that is causing me to have severe episodes of severe breathlessness! I am truly hoping I get better, I am doing everything I can think of to overcome! Do you have any advice?
If you can get referred to in person or online pulmonary rehab program and start exercising, that would be great. We have gotten a standing appointment with our Physical Therapist every week for an hour apiece. She helps give us exercises, tips and massage and cupping to keep us as healthy as possible.
“The more we do (safely), the more we CAN do!”
Since your condition is reversible, it sounds like you may have asthma that DOES improve with proper treatment and exercise. That’s excellent. Ask your doctor about pre-treating before you exercise so you can do more without breathlessness.
Don’t beat yourself up… We all do stuff that we should do and we don’t do because we really don’t understand why we need to do it if we feel OK…
There are lots of online pulmonary rehab videos, free. Of course, that doesn't get you out of the house, which is important, too, but...
I really need some structure in my exerciseroutine. Could you please share some of those online rehab videos that are free or low cost!
Thanking you in advance

Exercose with Sharon. 100% I have stuck with her as I have tried lots of others but this gal goes steady on. Counts as the exercise moves along with REPS of 10 each one.
Both standing and steated 1 hour. I don't do standing so I do the seated twice. Her video is 57 minutes. The seated part is 1/2 hr . I highly recommend on YouTube.
I know what you are saying as I tried with just the sheets from Resp Rehab that I started and quit A couple years ago.
All the best to you Hugs from Canada
I just wrote to you and I see I mispelled Exercise With Sharon LOL
Older than dirt so can't be held responsible LOL
