Considering no meds and trying diet, exercise and supplements
Hello. I have read soooooo much about both. Meds vs naturally increasing bone mass density. Please if anyone has successfully bypassed the med route - what did you do? How long did it take? Are you pleased with your increase? I am strongly considering no meds as I am on a cocktail already for epilepsy - which decreases bone density! I dont need more despair from possible brittle bones from meds. Thank you for any hope.

@sueinmn have you read the black box warnings?????
@lostbone9 Can you explain this test, and where you learned about it?
@lindamaegirl Forteo and Tymlos black box warnings were removed a few years ago.
Prolia has one re: severe low blood calcium for people with kidney disease.
Evenity does have one re: cardiovascular events.
Reclast has warnings (not black box) re: renal impairment, so not recommended for anyone with kidney issues.
Fosamax has warnings for osteonecrosis and atypical femur fractures, both associated with long-term use.
