Hello @mikeharsch and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! I see that you have had DBS. How long ago was this procedure completed? If you care to share more, could you tell us how long ago you were diagnosed with PD? What symptoms were most bothersome to you that made you want to try DBS?

We have had some other members who had DBS and I would like to invite them to join this discussion, @maxaz1, and @leftylucy.

Is it my understanding that you have already had one programming? Is that correct? How are you feeling in general?

I went to Germany and had revision surgery done for my DBS brain Leeds. Cost about 45,000 out of pocket. That is cheap compared to us prices. The doctors are exceptional. Anyone else? Germans are minimalist when it comes to meds. I ended up reducing about 1/2 of meds after the surgery.
