Cirrhosis and frequent infections

Good Day,
Has anyone with cirrhosis noticed that you get sick more often? That it takes longer for the symptoms to subside? I have been battling with congestion and coughing several times this summer and it seems to be more serious and hangs on for much longer than it used to. I also have digestive issues that I think indicate a gut biome upset. I do take pantoprozole for reflux and I take probiotics to try and help keep things in balance. Although all is not well in my gut. I did have ulcers and I do have gastric varices which I also think add to the problem. I also take Carvedilol for portal hypertension. I am dealing with, perhaps IBS, and striving to get an appointment with a new gastroenterologist. From researching Dr. Google, lol, I am inclined to think this is all part and parcel of the cirrhosis. Just curious if any of you with cirrhosis are experiencing the same sort of issues.
