I have MM and 3.5 years ago landed in hospital with sepsis due to UTI. Since then I have had UTIs off and on, and my last bout was in November 2023, when I was referred to my Uringynaeologist who prescribed me three months of 100mg macrobid daily and 2000mg D-mannose daily. I was also having diarrhoea and was advised to take Metamucil once a day.
This treatment is working out, but I am wondering what will be advised when I see the URI-gynae NP On Friday, Feb. 9th.
