Is it ok for me to share the same bed after chemotherapy?

Well I was never told not to but I chose to sleep in a separate bedroom so my wife could sleep.
I was up several times a night to piss and she had to work.

I am currently using a different bathroom and sleeping on the floor away from them, I think it’s safer for them that way.

Well when my father in law went through it back in the early 90’s they were instructed to NOT use the same toilet until chemo was 4 weeks post treatment.
I truly believe that cancer is contagious, I’m probably wrong but I didn’t take any chances.
I didn’t want to infect my wife in any way shape or form and I chose abstinence. I love her too much to a chance!
