CBD oil for pain

Posted by timfitz @timfitz, Jul 19, 2016

After trying opiates, and lyrica, and mostly just suffering I tried sublingual CBD which is from the marijuana plant, but has no THC in it, you don't get high. It was very very effective. Not only did it reduce my pain at least 75%, it has a calming effect on the anxiety produced in those of us with chronic pain by the fact we have it. I do recommend it.... Be sure it is from a reliable source. You don't need to smoke anything or get high.

@ripley

Is the CBD oil a topical or edible in an oil base, and what type of THC gummies do you take at night? Are the gummies for pain or sleep? Do you need to be in a Medical Marijuana program to buy these products?
thanks.

The CBD is a oil base flavored in lemon from Charlottes Web in Colorado. The THC gummies are made by Verano and say "Hybrid on the label and the initials RSO on the front. I use these for pain and sleep. I take 1/2 or 1 at one hour before bed. I was using the wrong ones before and was surprised not much relief. These relax my muscles and nerves so the burning pain is not so intense. Sleep 8+ hours most night now!!! You do not need a MMC but if you have one in NJ you get an additional 10% off + my senior citizen's discount. Hope I answered all your questions? Maureen

I found CBD alone to have minimal affect on my arthritis pain. Of course, I may not have taken a high enough dose, consistently, to produce good results. I found a 4:1 ratio of indica CBD/THC worked better.

I use THC oil from dispensary. Somewhat expensive but I find it works on my joints especially with Ibuprofen type creams.
