Does CBD oil help you with your depression and/or anxiety?
I am curious to know if anyone has had success with CBD or Hemp oil helping with depression/anxiety? I’ve been reading a lot about it and am curious.
I've been reading about this and am very interested but would like thoughts/opinions from anyone who has actually tried it or knows someone who has. TIA
Thank you,
Laura

2 ReactionsI realized after an incident yesterday that I need far more help than what I'm getting from marijuana daily. I've begun taking cbd oil .25 mg twice a day-a.m and p.m. But I'm curious to know if there is a better quality, better way of taking cbd oil. I've been diagnosed with PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, Social Phobia .. I've had several head injuries and two severe head injuries which my mother never taught help for. I believe I have IED-Intermittent Explosive Disorder, as well. I have rosacea that's been getting worse, so I decided to use THC oil and coconut oil OR vaseline as a moisturizer and I'll be!! It has helped so much! I have grandchildren and I NEED information. Perhaps Mayo will conduct testing?? I'm in!! I'll volunteer.
Sidebar: I used to be on so many pharmaceuticals, then went holistic for a time. So far the CBD oil is working best.
Sidebar Two: I've been smoking marijuana for 50 years-last twenty on the daily.
@lalyfa I have been taking cbd oil for a couple of weeks now and find that, for myself, I am feeling a little better. I've been off of pharmaceuticals for a couple of years and can tell the difference. This week's dosage is a little more, next week will be a little more again until I'm taking the full dropper full. It's tough having to experiment because not a lot of doctors (available doctors!) are knowledgeable yet. I still have "'bouts", only not so often, not so intense. Research all you can, though it can overload the system!! There's ml's and mg's in varying percentages that boggle the mind! Flavors and types and sizes oh my!!

1 Reaction@cdcc Stay home. Hit the vape slowly. Relax...the 'feeling' won't happen right away, I call it creeping .. 'coz it creeps up on you. Before you know it, you'll feel better. I prefer to try something new solo or with a good and trusted friend. Going off pharmaceuticals is tough, but you are strong and can do it! You have proven that by your desire to rid yourself of the chemicals and try a more healthy approach. I sometimes make notes of times, dosage, reactions/feelings .. it helps to keep a record. Good luck! Prayers for you.
Thank you for your kind words, have been doing the CBD oil with THC a few drops (8) at a time and I don’t get th3 light headedness
When buying cbd do your reasearch. Many cbd oils have all kinds of fillers.

1 ReactionI’ve been reading through these posts as I’m going through Effexor withdrawal and wondering if CBD would help. I’ve used Marijuana for much of my life and consider myself pretty knowledgeable about it. I noticed some questions I can answer. First, CBD has an extremely minimal amount of THC meaning it will not get you high. It’s the THC in Marijuana that gets you stoned, the CBD doesn’t at all. CBD is legal in every state I believe and you can find CBD shops (where no THC is sold) in most large cities. It is also sold in shops that do sell THC (much less common due to ridiculous legal restrictions). More so that in most shops workers at Marijuana shops are usually very knowledgeable on Marijuana so if you’re confused about dosing they can help you. Lastly, there is zero scientific evidence that Marijuana is physiologically addictive. What that means is your body won’t experience physical addiction. Psychologically/ mentally one could feel addicted (and as a long time smoker I have been there) but that is to Marijuana with THC.
Oh, one last thing. If you’re just starting to smoke from a vape pen just start slow and for a short time in your puffs. You’ll get comfortable before you know it.
