CBD Oil

Posted by suemer @suemer, Sep 11, 2018

Has anyone tried this for pain? My daughter-in-law is waiting for steroid injections as she has 2 buldging disks in her back and a torn ligament. Her doctors prescribed Tylenol and Tylenol 3. Did not work. CBD Oil has made a difference. She swears by it! Anyone else tried it?

How is your son doing today? Did he develop more allergies as he grew up? I understand changing our lifestyle to help a helpless child. Unlike your son's chemical allergies, my youngest had such severe food allergies the only thing he could safely eat from about 6 months of age for several years was meat or chicken, pure protein. I gave him vitamins but feared his growth would be stunted. Of course I would try to add other foods like rice and vegetables and gradually he improved, but with serious relapses. They didn't call it allergies then, they told me he didn't make digestive juices to digest food other than protein. The doctors also told me most kids would outgrown this in time. Of course your sons chemical allergies will only get worse with each exposure, his allergies are chronic like mine. I feared my son would never be able to go to school because of his explosive diarrhea. Below the age of 3 if eating the wrong foods, diarrhea every 15 minutes. My husband would say we should have bought stock in the company that made Desitin bottom ointment as we bought a jar every week because of his issues and must have made them rich. Yet at age 4 he began improving and by school age was in good shape, not perfect but he could control his bowels 99% of the time. He grew to be 6'3", high school championship water polo goalie with a full tuition scholarship to a CA university. Still no dairy today, but at age 45, other than greater than average gas issues if he cheats on food he is fine. He has blessed me with 5 grandchildren! I'm writing this to encourage other food allergy suffers that they can lead a normal life if they work at it. Believe me everything I gave him was made from scratch!

How to sensibly buy LEGAL cbd oil? Because I got a letter saying customs has confiscated my package two times already and I’m pissed.

Have you tried Kratom? I was on opiates for years due to degenerative disc issues. Then boom, no more. I was NOT paying for rehab, for methadone, for money grubbing counselors that have a huge recidivism rate because they just don't get it. Kratom allowed me to withdraw with minor annoyance and discomfort. I now feel SO PROUD that I did it myself, with the help of a natural plant that the FDA is trying to hard to ban. Pharmaceutical companies, rehab centers, all will lose customers if people begin to take charge of their lives THEMSELVES. Facebook has about 8 different Kraton groups that are closed, meaning private from everyone but the group. You can join one and learn so much about taking control of your pain.

Kratom relieves pain, period. CBD oil does help, but not enough. I am a wimp about chronic pain!

I recently took myself off of prescription meds( gavepentins) not cool, definitely withdrawal...so I've been using CBD oil....it most definitely helps w anxiety and restless leg craps at night....But I'm interested in Kratom as well...?

IF you are interested in Kratom, join some Facebook groups. They are FULL of information, suggestions, etc. There is even a group Ladies of Kratom, and Kratom for Dummies:) There is sooo much to know, but it is worth it. The red strains are best for pain, but tons of vendors and different types of Reds. Any questions, I am always available to ask. Don't always catch everything right away, but I will always answer. CBD oil is very limited IMO on how much it can do.

Like all supplements, medications, or natural remedies, Kratom should be taken with caution as well. Here is some additional information on what is and isn't know about kratom if you are considering this as a potential choice, https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/consumer-health/in-depth/kratom/art-20402171.

Of course that is posted by the Mayo Clinic. Doctors, pharmaceutical companies, rehab centers, methadone centers are all losing patients because they are listening or just wanting to listen to junk science. It is obviously a personal choice, but I choose to be in less or no pain, and opiates are no longer an option. Here is the real science.https://www.americankratom.org/science

Days when I am not in pain, which are few and far between, I actually don't use Kratom. There IS no addiction, unless you are a stupid kid trying to get high which will fail. You do not get high, you get pain relief. Some people use it for depression and anxiety. I don't even go there; only need it for PAIN. Hard to want to sit in front of a train and wait; then find Kratom and believe I might want to live instead.

IF, in fact, Kratom was so bad and dangerous, does anyone think Jeff Sessions, Scott Gottlieb or others would not ban it IMMEDIATELY? Instead they try to flood news organizations with stories of death due to Kratom. Follow up is that the victim was full of meth, heroin, or cocaine.

The ONLY way you could die from Kratom, is by inhaling and choking on it. Never heard of that of course.

You DO need to buy from a vetted vendor who tests product for salmonella, etc. and documents their tests. Is this all easy? NOPE. But neither is living in pain.

"At low doses, kratom acts as a stimulant, making users feel more energetic. At higher doses, it reduces pain and may bring on euphoria. At very high doses, it acts as a sedative, making users quiet and perhaps sleepy. Some people who practice Asian traditional medicine consider kratom to be a substitute for opium." HOGWASH. TOTALLY wrong. I have NEVER felt euphoria, never felt stimulated, nor felt like I was using "opium".....this person who wrote this has no idea about Kratom and is trying to keep a good, cheap pain reliever from the consumer, so pharma companies can continue to rake in the $$.

@tikigod18, I am in no way trying to discredit your experience with kratom or how it works for you. Like with all supplements and medications, each person is affected differently, and some people are more likely than others to have addictive personalities. Caution should be used by any individual starting a new medication or supplement and it is wise to inform your medical provider of anything you are taking because of the way medications and supplements affect one-another.

On Connect, members are encouraged to share evidence-based information from reputable sources. This gives members reliable information to do their research and make informed decisions suited to them. Kratom is a natural product that requires more research and is not FDA regulated.
