Cbd 50 mg for depression

Posted by ceciford @ceciford, 10 hours ago

Has anyone tried CBD *without* THC? Someone on my medical team recommended a dose of cbd 50mg per day for my depression (treatment resistant). She recommended a few sources that are third-party tested.

I found good quality cbd oil to work overall for many things. It is definitely an anti inflammatory.
The brain has receptors for it (we produce it endogenously) so it is a valid neurochemical. A long ago Israeli study showed that it helps in allowing us to forget (bad) stuff we don't need.
I am definitely better on it than off it (arthritis).
No valid clinical studies have made it into the medically reviewed range, so it's all anecdotal. THC tends to Zombify 🚫. CBD is benign 👍.*

How is it going with the cbd? Is it once a day or ?

I've been trying it for pain on & off for a couple years. Lately more so as I figure a few a day instead of other meds might be better. Just re more natural than otc or other prescribed pain meds.

Hope your dose is helpful for you.

I'm using it recently more than the usual prescribed meds re the more natural vs other pain meds.
So far so good. Low doses a couple times a day instead of the heavier stuff that doesn't help with the pain anyway. Yikes. Glad to hear you're finding it compatible. All the best.
