Cavity close-up in 12 months

I read an article published in Nature Magazine on Sep 10, 2024. Cavity can close up, taking 12 months on average ! It is such a promising article for cavitary disease patients!

I've actually been a patient at NJH and am reiterating what I have been told by doctors there. I also have read, listened to and experienced everything you've suggested. Have you listened to and watched all the information on http://www.aboutntm.com

I have read and listened to information from probably 1000 sources since my diagnosis over 6 years ago. aboutntm.com is just one of the sources I regularly follow. Others include ntminfo.org, NJH, Mayo, NYU Langone, Dr Joe Falkinham, Dr Timothy Aksamit, Dr Pamela McShane, Bronchiectasis and NTM 360, the European Respiratory Society and more. I also visit several other on-line NTM and Bronchiectasis groups. When all else fails, using keywords and Google scholar I search for data-based information and research studies.

The aboutntm.com source is good at identifying resources, but lacks many of the in-depth research studies I dig for to help answer questions. It is also sponsored by a pharmaceutical company, which I haven't found to be a serious problem on their site, but sometimes indicates a bias in a specific direction.
