Caregivers, need help? - A Documentary UNSEEN

On July 17, quite by accident, I watched a TV show called “UNSEEN, How we are failing Parent Caregivers and Why It Matters.”

Everything I heard was what I have read in this support group. The show featured a family with an autistic son, who were desperate for help, but none was available. The program states, “ Children or adults with disabilities or complex medical needs deal with barriers and challenges, including isolation and adverse health and financial outcomes.”

It is a PBS production and was combined with a show about adults caring for adult family members, especially those with dementia. Where to find the show

The show was excellent and I hope you can find it on your TV or computer!

I saw it too.

Let’s just hope it will continue to be shown on PBS after the recent removal of funding.

It's a lot cheaper to rebroadcast an existing program than produce a new one, so I'll bet they will.
