Can you still grow after 18? (I think I hit puberty late)

My dad is 5’11, mom 5’5 and me 5’8 after just turning 18. I think I hit puberty late because my voice started getting deeper close to 15 and my facial features look like I could be 16. I always get mistaken for a younger age. Going into highschool I was 5’ ft and was always shorter than my peers. Sophomore year I gained 4 inches, junior year I was 5’7 and 18 now at 5’8. So I just want to know if I could reach 5’10 at least and if it’s possible to grow after 18.

I’m a guy btw and if it helps I still could barley grow facial hair, only a mustache and armpit hair didn’t fully grow out till I was 16 and 1/2 so I just think that’s odd

Take a deep breath - You are right near the average height for men it the US, which is somewhere between 5'8" and 5'9". That said, young men often gain another inch in height before age 20, especially if they were "slow starters" at puberty this happened with two of my brothers and my son-in-law.

Are you concerned for a particular reason, or would you just like to be as tall as your Dad?

Yes, some get their growth spurt later. Our youngest son was 5’4” in high school but graduated from college at 6’. My husband was the same. Graduating from high school he looked like a little boy but his growth spurt was four years later. 5’11” . Yes eat healthy and exercise.

Well I’m from California and I just feel like everyone is taller than me, all my friends are 6ft and the same age as me. And height inflation is crazy now, every girl wants a guy over 5’11.

Thank you for your answer! I workout and sprint 4 times a week and for the most part eat healthy. I’ll be back in 4 years to update you on my height
