I cannot clear my throat; feels like mucus is there. Suggestions?

I have been to doctors and tried everything had my throat checked by doctors. nothing works it is driving me and my family nuts.

You symptom does sound crazy making.

When the doctors check your throat, do they see mucus? Have they mentioned allergies, anxiety, using a decongestant or over the counter allergy medication, etc.?

I have a traech (sp) No ENT doctor will see me. Why?

I use 1-2 vitamin c gummies a day for my salivary glands not working as my Pcp suggested anything citrus that is sour to create more saliva and does seem to help clearing that mucous in throat. Hope that helps

Hi!
That is too bad about your throat problem! It must be terrible! I have a very sensitive throat and for years I was susceptible to sore throats constantly. However after I started using original Listerine after every meal, I have had no sore throats at all. It's very good about getting mucus out and getting the soreness to go away after only a few uses. Don't use the flavored Listerines. They don't work at all. Another thing I used before I found Listerine was to gargle with hot salt water. That worked pretty well but the Listerine was much better. I hope this helps.

I have recently been diagnosed with a sinus infection. After the ct scan, the doctor discovered a hole in one of my sinuses. There is some concern over csf fluid leaking into my sinus after the surgery and a need to repair the hole. Has anyone had an experience with this sort of thing?

This is @juleszs--- I have a condition that has lasted about 1 and 1/2 years. I feel like I have phlegm in my throat but I can not bring it up. I have been scoped 4 times by an ENT doctor I have tried GERD meds. I have been to an allergy doctor. He tried asthma meds. Nothing helps.
This condition goes away when I sleep. As soon as I move around in the morning the congestion returns and stays with me all day---it feels like there is a lump in my throat.
Background ------ In January, 2020 I had neck surgery----- C 4/5. Maybe the breathing tube nicked my throat. This condition started just after the surgery. However-- I have had this condition twice before in the 27 years that I have lived in Florida. But it has gone away in due time. Now it is here to stay.
Please comment!

I have trouble breathing at times. I have a traecheostomy (sp) and ENT doctors will
now see me because of it. I've talked to an attorney and it seems they can do just that.
That sucks.

Update from JULES,
I have had my throat condition for over 3 years. ENTs can not find any help for me. I live with the discomfort.
Menthol cough drops helps for a short while.

Any new magic?
