Can I treat a sinus pain infection 13 days prior to an Ablation?

PFA scheduled May 29. Today I developed a bad sinus infection ((Saturday). Will go to an urgent care clinic on Sunday to nip it would n the bud. Will this cause an issue with my PFA?

Only if you get really sick, say with a secondary infection that requires urgent care...that might.....might...interfere. But I would not lose optimism that this will run its course just like all the other head colds you've ever had. You should be back in the ball game by the 22nd or so.

Thx. It kept getting worse and coughed some blood withe phlegm. But n a Z pack. Finishes on Thursday. Will let my doc know. And it was a sinus infection with fever, not a head cold

Thx. It kept getting worse and coughed some blood withe phlegm. But n a Z pack. Finishes on Thursday. Will let my doc know. And it was a sinus infection with fever, not a head cold

@bohaiboy Okay, I only get sinus infections when I get a head cold. Maybe yours was more allergen-driven or just a virus...it happens. But, yes, I think you should be fine, especially if the discomfort and discharge change and you get no more fevers.
