Sorry that you’re having headaches. I also had them with the Fibro. I changed the way I ate. If I stay on a clean food plan and away from high oxalate food, no sugar, low salt, no processed food, I do so much better. It’s amazing how good we feel by watching what we put in our stomach. Hope this helps!

Id recommend seeing a neurologist and try monthly injections of Emgality or similar. Changed my life

I know it too well. had chronic headaches and migraines too many years ago. They were debilitating. I was under the care of a wonderful neurologist for over a year. He did the migraine diaries, scans, MRI, etc. Eventually he prescribed migraine medication and it worked for me (Maxalt) As needed. He emphasized only to take if necessary. Do you work in an office with fluorescent lights? Have you had an MRI of your head/brain? Botox for migraines? There’s new medication for prevention of migraines I was offered if the migraine medication didn’t work, however I don’t remember the name. Your doctor may be able to give more information on these preventative medications for migraines. Like so many other fibromyalgia symptoms these migraines were chronic and relentless and eventually mysteriously disappeared, almost completely. Pain did move on to other parts of the body. Oddly enough the fibromyalgia hits 1 or 2 body parts at a time instead of chronic overall body pain like at the beginning, and not as often (taking LDN, 6 mg). I only get migraines a couple of times a year now, if that and the Maxalt works. There’s hope.

My fibromyalgia started with headaches that would last for 4-6 weeks and then go away for about 4-6 weeks. Weirdly, they were only on the left side of my head. I went to several neurologists and even had a temporal artery biopsy to rule out Temporal Arteritis, which I didn't have. I had injections and nothing worked except Tylenol. Once the body pain started, I realized the headaches were part of my fibro issues.

LDN low-dose naltrexone, significantly helped relieve my body pain and headaches.

@jeannesf1
I thought i was having headaches but it was whip lash from a fall.
But there were other times of true migraine.

I have had 2 migraines. In the doctor's office the nurse took me seriously and got the waste basket to my mouth just in time.
Aleve helps me. Being retired helps too.

The thing that has helped me is Botox injections for migraine done at my neurologist office. I get them every three months. It’s been a lifesaver. In addition I take a very low dosage (25mg) Topiramate twice a day to keep breakthrough headaches at bay.

I take qulipta daily and migraine Botox treatments. It took a year for the treatments to hit maximum efficacy for me. I went from daily migraines to one a month. The Botox manufacturer has a rebate program so you can get it for $0 cost with insurance. Highly recommend!!
