Burning Mouth syndrome - Bloodwork Normal

I was just diagnosed with burning mouth syndrome in February went to an oral specialist in Boston because they didn't know what to do with me in Maine. He put me on 10 mg of amitriptyline which is helping but it's not gone away. He said it takes 6 to 8 weeks and I'm on my 5th week. He gone gave me an mouth rinse also because I have a white tongue dry mouth and a really distasteful foul taste on my tongue so that's to help with bacteria. Only on my second day for that. I may not be able to stay on this amitriptyline because I have Sjogren's disease and that dries everything up especially your mouth. Anybody else have any success?
