Burning Mouth Syndrome

The exact cause of burning mouth syndrome is unknown. I was wondering if it could be related to COPD and or Lung Health. Does anyone have any input? I struggle with this problem often. It comes as fast as it goes. Not related to dry mouth. Dentist says it is though to be a neurological problem. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
