Breztri Inhaler

Posted by suzyq61 @suzyq61, Dec 25, 2025

Is anyone on breztri, I’m on
It about a year, I have noticed I feel like it doesn’t last 12 hours, I take once in morning and once at night and I can tell it’s almost time to take again, now I have noticed last month inhaler and this months inhaler when I take it sometimes i don’t feel like I’m actually getting a full dose and I won’t take it again until the night dose and I notice those days I’m not breathing well, does anyone else have any issues, yes I make sure I rinse the canister like the suggested and it’s not difficult to push down on it to take medication, just wondering has anyone had any issues with this inhaler

@jules2052 it’s funny because when I had a stress test my cardiologist gave me a trelegy sample and said take it 10 15 minutes before the breztri and it was helping and when I ran out of the trelegy I asked my doctor about continuing to use it before and it said no because it’s the same type of medication. I have been seeing all the breztri commercials and I actually got an email advertising showing people and them all claiming it works great, I’m just wondering are they cutting back to save a buck, it’s like the portable oxygen tanks they claim you can go out go golfing and all other outdoor activities and you see people smiling well I don’t think they work great either. I know there’s no cure but there’s gotta be something to give some relief

@suzyq61 interesting to take it before the Breztri. I’ll have to try that and see how far I can walk without stopping. I also notice that Breztri gives me the jitters and anxiety goes the roof. (Probably all in my head….lol). And the plastic containers they use to put the meds in don’t work half the time so we are not getting full doses of meds. Regardless of how well you take care of them. (I think you mentioned that). 😂 It’s kind of like paying $6.99 for a 12 oz bag of coffee and now you only get 8 oz. For $6.99. Can’t win for losing. I’m actually shocked they haven’t found a drug or combination of other drugs that would be more effective since Covid and 9-11 for higher stages of COPD/lung diseases/etc.

I have the same issues. Feels like not getting full dose. Interesting that the samples work perfectly!?! I have discussed with company and they have given me replacements but they don't seem any better. And so it goes...

I use Breztri and it says use 2 puffs twice a day.

@tjphillipp I take Breztri for about 3 yrs. One thing I learned is use a spacer. Watch a video, if you don't already use, and see the proper way to use one. I didn't for a long time and now the Breztri is far more effective. All the best to you in this journey we are dealing with.

My lung doc prescribed Breztri to take 2 puffs/twice a day. Been on it about 6 months and have come to the conclusion that the first puff is more of “primer” puff and the second is where you get the most good. I exhale as I bend down to force out as much air as possible. When I trigger the Breztri, I inhale as deep as possible while straightening back up, pulling my shoulders back and forcing my diaphragm down. I was on Trelegy originally but with the Breztri my resting O2 levels are 3 points higher.

I was on Advair for years, then Trelegy, and Breztri since 12/25. My observations: After Breztri, I can take deeper breaths, The samples I had worked perfectly.. full doses each time... prescription not so good. Might get one good dose and one weak one or just two weak ones. Sometimes I go for am extra just to make sure. Called company 4 times. they have provided replacements, but no difference. I am going to try one more time. I think the acuator is the problem, but we'll see. I the meantime, I continue to have a hard time just walking around the house.

@opirg your not alone on that, many people have mentioned not getting full dose and they claimed they called too, I have but doubt they are changing anything on it , it’s not a difficult thing, push straight down out comes the medication but unfortunately full dose doesn’t always come out, I find if you have your fingers more to the back when pushing down it helps. Its a shame because when you get the full dose it helps, I too am walking around my house out of breath and I’m also on ohtuvayre which isn’t helping much, I’m getting ready to try nucala it’s a once a month injection and I’m praying I will breathe better then I am now, just waiting to actually get it took a long time for approvals. Hopefully in a week 🙏

@stevelc that’s a different way of taking it and if it’s helping you that’s great. Many aren’t getting the full spray amount, I can always tell when i didn’t, you can hear it. It should be just push down but i noticed my fingers gotta be more to the back and not in the center so that tells me it’s the inhaler holder which I have reported but doesn’t seem they aren’t changing it. Good luck hope you stay ok
