Brachioradial pruritus. (severe itching on forearms and neck, no rash).
Does anyone know of this. I think its rare but does exist. My neurologist does not know about this. I have compression between my c5 and c6 cervical disk and have had alot of sun damage to my skin.

Has anyone researched or tried or is taking magnesium?
I just am learning about it. I gave listened to Dr. Carolyn Dean and have her book the Magnesium Miracle. Apparently unless the magnesium is broken down into a Pico meter size, it does’t really get to the red blood cells, which is here it needs to go to be effective. I am amazed at the results of so many people after discovering their need for a magnesium supplement. Apparently it is difficult to get the correct daily amount with just food.
In addition, I have also learned about adding pink Himalayan salt to drinking water in order for the regular water not to draw important minerals out of your body.
I purchased the Remag liquid and the Remag lotion. It is supposed to be especially beneficial for the nervous system but also helps with many other health conditions but only if you take the right form, in the right dosage for you and add the pink himilayan salt to your water so your body doesn’t deplete itself of the minerals with the regular water.
There is a different test that shows magnesium lack called RBC. Let us know how you’re feeling!
Yes, I read about that. I might get one.
Has it worked? No sugar or white flour, or white products (bread, rice, etc) is the standard for good health! You can find some tasty recipes-don’t give up!
FYI-2nd session of PT with needling, traction, manipulation and mobilization of C 5/6/7 and T1&2-NO MORE ITCHING! It’s been a week post treatment and what a relief after 3 mos of non stop itching!. I have 4 more sessions scheduled. My opinion that the BRP was caused by cervical pathology was correct for me. Whew! I decreased using the topical ketamine/amitriptyline to 1x a day and none today. I did get a “zinger” early this morning but it went away, confirming the need for ongoing Rx. I stopped my workouts for my upper body and stopped running for a bit. All to allow my bones to settle down per the PT. I don’t know if this will work for anyone else, just stating what worked for me. Took tons of patience and finding a skilled PT is crucial.
