Here’s mine: _Hope for the Caregiver_, by Peter Rosenberger
Short chapters with just the right words needed for a boost of encouragement and insight. He has been a caregiver for his wife for decades.

I have read so many books on this topic. Perhaps the most helpful was The 36 Hour Day by Nancy Mace and Peter Rabins. It has been so successful that it is in its 7th edition of printing with close to 4 million copies sold. Be sure to get the latest edition. Another book that I found very insightful is On Pluto: Inside the Mind of Alzheimers by Greg O'Brien. Mr. O'Brien is an investigative reporter with Alzheimers. It is sort of an autobiography of his own journey with the disease and his fight to hang on to his mind. It may be a bit harder to find but definitely worth the hunt. The last chaoters are written by his wife and children. They are deeply touching and their words are painfully honest about their experience watching, encouraging and supporting their father. Another one is a bit more graphic, but I am grateful to have read it as many of the occurrences that happened in Meryl Comer's journey with her husband have also happened in our home. It is titled Slow Dancing With A Stranger; Lost and Found in the Age of Alzheimers.
My sweet hubby has Lewy Body Dementia, but each book mentioned here has helped in many ways as there are several aspects of Alzheimers that are similar to LBD.

That book A 36 hour day was the first book given to us when my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. It is really a good book 📚
