Body itching

Posted by Retired teacher @specialteacher, Jul 31, 2018

I’ve had almost unbearable itching for over 3 months. Was prescribed hydroxyzine, but it doesn’t seem to help. It started when I was in the ER having a very frightening allergic reaction. I was given an epinephrine iv, and a breathing treatment. My legs started to shake uncontrollably. Then I couldn’t breathe, was given an injection of something at that point. I’m taking benadryl and paxil but don’t know how much longer I can deal with this.

@gardenjunkie The CBD is from the flowers and stems Hemp is from the seeds that dont contain the cbd is my understanding.Amino acids are already in our body but as we age some aren't as potant so some need to be given a boost .I just ordered from Charlotte,s Web some spray.

@gardeningjunkie = my husband's allergist is trying hard to get drs. to do allergy testing before a joint replacement, especially if the patient already has a heavy metal allergy. I believe there is a specific test before (or after – as in our case) the actual surgery for joint replacement – that checks for several of the components.

Hi @barbarn, @gardeningjunkie here's some information I found about the need for metal allergy screening/testing.

@johnbishop – thank you! I will check those sites out! (and pass them on to allergist and orthopedic surgeon!) As it seems more and more people are developing allergies, the need for testing before joint replacement becomes more a necessity!
