Has anyone looked into a class action law suit regarding Benzodiazepines?

Do you think the side effect continued after you stopped taking Klonopin. I don't know of any side effects I had. It worked well for what it was prescribed for and I miss it, yet I realize it is not good to take it long-term and I look forward to not being dependent on a drug.

I am still trying to work all of that out. From what I read I have six more months before my brain is back to pre Klonopin state.

I had no idea it took that long. But I have been tapering slowly since January, so 7 months so far. I'm on the lowest dose they make 0.125mg and I don't think it has any affect at all, and I believe the terrible insomnia is a withdrawal symptom as is my jitteriness. Blood pressure is spiking as well. I keep telling myself my brain is healing and rewiring itself but when I don't sleep all night, I sure do miss that little blue pill assuring me I would sleep easily and all night.

Monitor your blood pressure regularly. Stroke is a potential side effect of quitting. Hence the long taper? Try melatonin for sleep. Try Indica marijuana. I live in Illinois, so it’s legal and it helps immensely. I struggle to understand why it is not more regularly available. It seems to be utter nonsense.

I have had high blood pressure since my 30's - usually stress related, so going off Klonopin has clearly contributed to spikes. I'm on 3 medications to regulate my BP, but still get spikes. They are worse when I have a night I don't sleep. I do monitor - usually twice daily and have a cardiologist. I take melatonin sometimes. Georgia is awful about THC - very limited. I'm trying CBD with a little THC. Only 3 times yet - once it worked great and the other 2 times, not so great.

In my opinion. The Indica strain of THC is relaxing, the sativa is the opposite. I appreciate the Dispensary's because I have choices, the staff are knowledgeable and it makes a huge difference.

You may very well be one of lucky ones and not have any lingering effects after you stop medication. But many are like me and almost 6 months off the med. still notice some lingering effects. Can take up to a year in some people.

I second the indica for sleep. I use the gummies. Added bonus, my back pain is better. It’s legal in my state.

I am so scared . I am taking klonopin for severe anxiety . I don’t want to take it . I know the drug is bad for you. I have terrible anxiety due to my husband’s cancer . What else have you tried ? Did you take it daily ? How much ? Please tell me.

Awesome sso sorry for your husband's cancer. I have been on psych drugs for 40+ yrs. My brain is probably fried too. I am on zoloft too. I think it doesn't help but I have taken so many different drugs over the years that nothing seems to work. I feel like I am totally wiped out. Let's pray we both get relief
