Benzo withdrawal

Hello i've been using clonazepam for 4 months 0.75mg , 0.25mg morning and 0.5mg at night for anxiety, im so afraid of withdrawal and tapering symptoms. Any positive vibes please?

I am at the same point in my taper. I took 1 mg 3 times a day for about 20 years. I did fine with .25 cuts off of 1 dose every 3 weeks. Everything was fine until the 7 month point. I had made it to .5 mg at bedtime with no problems. A family argument made me go back on it. (That was 7 months ago.) I have been at 1 mg a day for a few months now. Started the .25 am and .50 pm a couple of weeks ago. My next cut will be.125 on the am dose for 3 weeks to try to get rid of that one. Then, I will try .125 off the pm dose for as long as it takes. It will be at least 3 weeks between cuts based on how well I do. I know it has to be done slowly. I am trying to stay positive about this because I did so well during the first 7 months. I take it for anxiety. Hope other folks will weigh in on this.

I have only taken about 10 Ativan recently followed by 4 Klonopin from my primary doc. Both were .5 mg. And taken once daily at night. My sleeping improved but my anxiety got much worse. Now I have gone 3 days without any and I feel as if I am in a major withdrawal! Is this even possible?! Nausea, no sleeping, lack of appetite Do any professionals answer this blog? My primary doc doesn’t think it is withdrawal but it sure feels like it to me.

I have only taken about 10 Ativan recently followed by 4 Klonopin from my primary doc. Both were .5 mg. And taken once daily at night. My sleeping improved but my anxiety got much worse. Now I have gone 3 days without any and I feel as if I am in a major withdrawal! Is this even possible?! Nausea, no sleeping, lack of appetite Do any professionals answer this blog? My primary doc doesn’t think it is withdrawal but it sure feels like it to me.

Thanks for your reply. Only maybe 6 days. One a day for 3 days, then I took a half for a day, and then a quarter of a pill for 3 days trying just to taper down a bit. But then I spent 3 days of hell literally! Can’t believe that little bit would do that! I told my primary about it yesterday because I was so uncomfortable, and she just told me to take another half yesterday which helped a little but now I feel I have to go through all that withdrawal again. Ugh!

But I did take about 10 Ativan prior to that 6 days. 1 a day but those were making anxious so doc switched. They really should remove that stuff from the market if it can cause all this suffering in so short a time.

My advice stop taking any benzo, go for another med for anxiety

So how many Benzos did you take in total before stopping?

Only probably 12-14 total in a period of a month.

You have to taper off. You are going thru withdraw. Do you have a psychiatrist to help?
