Azithromycin 500 mg. 3 X week for Bronchiectasis

Hi everyone,

Has anyone been on Azithromycin 500 mg. 3X per week for bronchiectasis? I am particularly interested in hearing if it improved your quality of life and if so, how long did it take to notice an improvement. Also, please share your experience with this.

I have had visual acuity studies by my ophthmalogists. No hearing studies. Liver function labs @ every three months. Urine is quite orange the morning after a med day (Tues, Thur and Sat). It fades pretty quickly. Stool has an orange tint as well.

I have been in Azithromycin and Ethambutol since Sept of 24. I refused a third one. My last 3 months of sputum testing was negative. I use 7% saline every other day as it was causing g pain in the rt lung. I have little coughing and small amount of sputum. I am tired and little energy and force my self to do things. I just had clearances done for C4-C5 next week and all MD’s say I sound clear.
