Autoimmune disease with vaginal prolapse

I’m 49 and I have Raynauds Phenomenon. I was diagnosed over 10 years ago. Recently I have had a Cystocele and or Uterine Prolapse. Still to be determined after vaginal ultrasound. My doctor talked about doing mesh to hold my bladder where it’s supposed to be. I was wondering if anyone with Autoimmune has had issues with the mesh. Just for a reference of how my body has reacted for example, I had a root canal done a few years ago. A year later I had to have the tooth pulled because my body decided it was going to deteriorate my jaw bone around the tooth. I did have a bone graft and it seems to be doing ok although I feel that is deteriorating too. I do not have gum disease or anything like that and was told it was due to having autoimmune by both my dentist and the orthodontic surgeon. I know this can be true according to what I’ve read and my sister that has autoimmune with lupus has the same issue with her teeth. I just worry if I get the surgery for the mesh that I will have issues with it. I’ve done research and what has been reported is it’s the particle from the mesh that causes flare ups. I will be questioning the doctor on this but wanted to get feed back to see if anyone else has had an issued with the mesh used for this type of surgery. Thank you for any input. ❤️
