Autoimmune Condition Significantly Worse in CA

I have autoimmune (AI) conditions a couple. I lived in Colorado for many years, my AI was well controlled. Small exacerbation every now and then. Moved to Germany, no real changes, well controlled.
Diet and light exercise. No drinking, no drugs. Allergies well controlled with OTC allergy medicine in America. Germany you need prescription.
A few years ago we moved to Southern CA and the insignificant AI condition before is a nightmare here. Also, breathing, allergies. It wasn't so bad last time I lived here in the 2000's. But, now it is like the pollution has skyrocket near the military bases. Fires are not any worse. Headaches. Gut pain. Difficulties breathing. New diagnosis. Lab work that is abnormal, which is new.
It is absolutely ridiculous. My family lives into late seventies and early eighties. If I keep going they way I am today, lucky to get another decade out of my current body living in Southern CA.
This is something I started investigating at work. Most of my co-workers are on some form of steroid; inhalers, pills, or biologics. They have significant respiratory issues, psoriasis, and thyroid conditions.
The doctors do not even seem to try and figure out what the cause is before just prescribing these medications. It is absolutely absurd here.
Is there anyone else that has experienced this?
