ASD heart
Good day everyone.
My baby was born with ASD and had a high heart rate. We got the heart rate under control with medication and did not have any episodes since we got home. She is now 8 weeks old. My cardiologist did not give me to much information only that it's 8 mm big and will probably not close on it's own. We need to see her again in 4 months. I really just need some advise about the danger of it. I am so worried and can't seem to find my feet. I am going in to a very big depression and don't know what to do anymore.
And google is not giving me any peace of mind.

Your worry is very understandable - especially when dealing with a newborn! Would talking to your family doctor put your mind at ease a bit?
Thank you. I did ask him and the only answer that I got is that it's dangerous
Some comfort that is, eh!
