Art for Healing

Posted by Harriet Hodgson @harriethodgson1, Oct 26, 2018

Kudos to the Montreal Museum of Fine Art for allowing physicians to write prescriptions for free admission to the museum. And kudos to Mayo Clinic for its art program. From the beginning, Mayo Clinic believed that art can uplift patients and foster healing. Whether it's Rochester, Jacksonville or Scottsdale, Mayo Clinic displays a wide range of artwork for patients. The Rochester site published a brochure for a self-guided tour of artwork. I live in Rochester and every time I'm at Mayo, I take the time to look at the artwork.

@becsbuddy . Hi Becky. I have some questions.
. How does one post a picture/painting on to Mayo Clinic Connect?
. Also, is there an easier way to start a post with your recipient's moniker than by the arduous method of typing the entire thing, checking that person's post to be sure we got it right, then re-typing with the correction?
. One more query, is there an efficient way to check daily postings without checking into each of our relevant categories and surfing through them?
Many thanks 😊
Laurie

Hi @artist01, I can help answer these questions.
1. When you click REPLY, you will see a grey button Photo/Files. Click that and upload your picture.
2. Use the @ symbol and start typing the member's username. After the first 3 letters, you will get a selection of names to choose from that match. I find it easier to copy the @username of the person I wish to mention.
3. Use the daily digest to see a summary of the day's posts for the groups that you follow. Read more about the daily digest here:
