Help me understand: Architecture distortion with BI-RADS 4
Now I’m 41 and when I went for my first mamo it turned out as architectural distortion and called for additional diagnostics mamo . After diagnostics mamo technician told I need to go for ultra sound and while walking thru results radiologist told due to dense tissue she couldn’t assess clearly and ask me to schedule for biopsy which is scheduled on 1st February.
Today I got my diagnostics mamo results and mentioned birads 4 architecture distortion which making me nervous and anxious during my wait period till I get my biopsy results.
Anyone who can throw some light here is greatly appreciated.please share if anyone came across any of these situation. How can I interpret/ understand my case

My mammogram found an "architectural distortion," so we went to ultrasound. They saw no correlation. (I think that means the distortion did not show up in the ultrasound.) But the second mammogram (done the same day as ultrasound) did find it again. Went to stereotactic breast biopsy and it was malignant. Had lumpectomy and radiation.
Hi, I was just wondering how things went for you? I had a biopsy today with an architectural distortion found in both the screening, diagnostic, and ultrasound. Now it is a waiting game.
On Screening Mammo last week Questionable Distortion was seen on left side and has never been seen before. Have had yearly mammos for many years ( strong family history) and often have had to have follow up ultrasounds for dense tissue and cysts. But never had this distortion before. Going for Contrast Mammo in 5 days. Hoping to be able to get a result that same day from the new Mammo. Being an oncology RN my whole life has for sure caused me some strong anxiety and trying to not focus on test since there is nothing I can do at this time. The "not knowing" is really hard.
