Arachnoiditis: Looking to talk with others

Posted by arannek72 @arannek72, Jul 3, 2018

I just got diagnosed with arachnoiditis. The radiologist found it on my MRI. I have had 7 steroid injections and I fear that they have caused this chronic situation. My back is worse than it ever was.

I hate to hear you're suffering Kim. I'm not there yet and I hope I don't get there yet but to hear you makes it even more important that we find some help. I think very aggressive in my life and everything I've done with cancer twice and now this I have saved my life a number of times but maybe this is the third strike out. I hope not and I will fight for us and let's see what happens. Hang in there we love you and take care. I'll be back I can't wait for this new Matt that's coming to hopefully help ease the pain. Don

Thank You don, not a cry, tears. Please don't do anything that your gut tells you no. Thank God you are in the beginning stages. You now know the more you may have done the more it gets worse. Mayo Dr. said no Stim. he is right. When a stimulator is implanted the more lamina is removed. I wish my NJ congressmen, Senators would have just invited me to meet with them. Medical Community is strong and protected. I have had cancer. "HAD" Third strike out is ONLY for baseball. Hope you are going out this evening. If yes, HAVE FUN!

Jon, I can rid myself of the anger I have for that first surgeon, Dr. Carl Giordano, Morristown NJ. Can't believe all the Lamina he removed. How Do You feel about it? When drs hear about it they don't say anything but their faces do. I want to send him a letter so badly. He took my husband and my dreams.

Hi. I am so sorry for your loss! I know what it is to want to write to the DC doctor who permanently altered your life. I want yo also but I am afraid that it will get out and some of my other doctors will drop me. They are all in a cya club together.

I'm sorry for a BIG spelling error, I meant to say, "I can't rid myself of the anger for that first surgeon" I was always a spontaneous person, I my husband said, lets go, I ran. So much fun! He's at the Giants Game today, I could't go. He deservers to go to relax, laugh with friends and free for a day! Started a 1 EST.

I found a Neurological group an hour, half from here. Calling tomorrow for an appt. I will Not mention AA. I will say Spine Pain. Afraid if told the truth they won't see me happened before. How are you feeling?

That was smart of you not to mention the AA.

I am not sure what state you live in. I live in Illinois where AA is one of the qualifying conditions for a medical marajuana card. I get it from a medical marajuana dispensary where there are doctors and pharmacists that are specialized in this type of treatment. It has really given me a little bit of my life back. I can actually sleep now.

I had the paper work emailing that dr. and I back and forth, I usually save all medical correspondence, I can't find it dropped the Administration, my proof ?????? So much has been said about these drs, can't get it out to the public!!!!
