Anyone using Dupixent for eosinophilic esophagitis or EOG?
I have chronic EOE and EOG for past 5 years. My doctor is suggesting Dupixent to minimize the eosinophils to help me absorb iron since I am also iron deficient.

Hi @jkupratis, as you likely already know, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently approved dupilumab (Dupixent) for treatment of adults and children 12 years and older with eosinophilic esophagitis. Dupilumab is a type of medicine known as a monoclonal antibody. It works to block the action of certain proteins in the body that cause inflammation. Dupilumab is given weekly via injection.

When do you start treatment?
Hello Colleen,
Thank you for reaching out. I am aware of its recent approval. I was hoping to hear from those with my similar condition and if they experienced any of the side effects and their overall experience with success. If I do decide to move forward in taking Dupixent it will be in January.
