Anyone using a vibration plate for lymphedema?

Posted by sandy8043 @sandy8043, Sep 29, 2025

I've been reading about vibration plates for balance and lymphedema. I have issues with both. I see my favorite YouTube PT has a few videos on using one. https://youtu.be/tWjl0dFyXKM. I've used her other lymphedema videos and they are very helpful.

Anyone use a vibration plate? How did it work??

I have lymphedema in my left leg and I’ve used a vibration plate before. I think it’s quite helpful in my lifelong lymphatic battle. As with most things, I didn’t keep up my routine and eventually got away from using it much at all. Oddly enough, I just said to myself the other day that I’d start back up soon. I really do recommend its use to help with lymphedema symptoms. I’m sure the vibration helps with blood flow, ultimately mitigating swelling.

I love how versatile it is! Mine allows me to control the vibration speed. I can also sit on the floor and just drape my legs over it when I don’t feel up to standing or if standing is painful some days. Mine even has a bluetooth radio built-in! 🤩 I think I’ll give it a “spin” tonight for the new year! 🤭

Update. I have reduced my lymphedema and also greatly reduced my incontinence. Also improved my joint flexibility.

I didn't know I could use it for lymphedema, incontinence and joint flexibility. Just WOW thank you so much. I will use it every day. I do feel good when I use it. My son found it in an office dumpster along with other equipment. It works great. He will be happy to hear it will help me with these issues. Thank you for sharing.

@registrar2025 I have lymphedema in both legs ever since I had ovarian cancer.I also have a vibration plate and have not used it very much. But after reading What you wrote, I think I will start using it again. I don’t stand when I’m using it. I sit down in a chair. Thank you.
