Anyone used the Push/Catch System to remove heavy metals

Posted by ch47 @ch47, Aug 27, 2023

Has anyone ever used a product called Push/Catch System ( or something similar) to remove heavy metals? My husband had a heavy metals test recently, and very seriously high on antimony, lead, mercury and arsenic, magnesium. No idea of how or why. This system is supposed to clean out these metals from your lungs and liver.
He has IPF, and takes Ofev to possibly reduce advancement of the disease. Ofev can be tough on the liver. ( so far so good!) and has a lung disease.
If anyone has any information about this product, being used instead of chelation
( 2 1/2 hrs away, twice a week, not back to back days) please share. Would be difficult.
They were extremely specific about how to take with other meds…could reduce effects of the Ofev if not taken properly…
Also, no plastic water bottle use, use sauna every other day and more stuff…
Thanks!

I did what I normally do when someone poses a question like yours - I looked for the scientific evidence...AND...I couldn't find any. Everything published regarding the Dr Chris Shade and Quicksilver Push Catch Liver Detox is by/about his company. There is no evidence of an independent scientific study. Here's the site:
https://www.quicksilverscientific.com/all-products/pushcatch-liver-detox/
And after I read all about it - here is what the box at the bottom of the ad says: "*These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease."

Further, the jury is out on whether there is any scientific basis for "liver detox":

This is a difficult situation - chelation therapy itself can be tough, and when you add IPF and the meds to manage it, decisions get harder to make.
Do you have someone with whom you can discuss the pros and cons?

Sue, John and all,
Thank you for your research efforts and support!
Very interesting and informative…just started looking into it once it arrived yesterday. The instructions for taking this product, along with his other meds, were so specific and a bit scary…3 hours of overall time needed to properly complete the process of consuming this product and his Ofev. Each time. Yikes…that made me start to worry a bit, and decided to touch base with my trusted friends at Mayoclinicconnect.
Will be seeing the pulmonologist in 2 months, and will be talking to the functional medical people soon, I think! They are good and have helped me in some great ways, but this is about his life…
Thank you-thank you again!
Ch47
Ps…he is a non drinker, non smoker, very active and had his third liver function test last Monday. Hoping that since we did not hear from the pulmonologist, that things are good! 🙏
