Anyone use coconut water and have it resolve a migraine
So had migraine on leftside Wednesday night, took 1 ubrelvey and it took care of it no problem. Friday morning wake up with migraine on rightside waiting to use medication as its still in mild stages. After morning walk decided to try coconut water see if it actually helps. I bought Zico natual coconut water so no additives and no extra sugars.
I drank about 1/2 a glass of the coconut water and about 45 minutes later migraine is gone.
I was totally surprised that it worked, cause I've tried liquid iv before and that did nothing for me.
Was glad it helped, but wondering if it will work again.
Anyone use this on a regular basis, any concerns about the potassium amounts?

Healthy kidneys will have little trouble with slightly higher than usual amounts of potassium. If you know your kidneys are functioning well, you have little to worry about. There is such a thing as 'hyperkalemia', meaning cellular levels of potassium that are high, out of range, but you'd have to be munching pistachios, beets, and coconut water much of the day to overdo it. And, if only a cup or so at a time, maybe twice a day, I don't see a problem....again...IF....your kidneys are sound. You can always run this past a physician to see what you should or shouldn't do.
