Anyone on Alta 3263?
My mom started the Alta 3263 trial in January 2016 after a lesion was found on her liver. The tumor has shrunk and been contained, but her nausea and lethargy has increased. Curious how others are handling it? Thanks

It is very encouraging that your mom's liver lesion has shrunk and remained controlled on ALTA-3263. That's wonderful to hear.
The increasing nausea and lethargy/fatigue are definitely worth discussing with the trial team. With an investigational drug, I would make sure they know exactly how much these symptoms have changed rather than assuming they are something she simply has to tolerate. The team may be able to adjust supportive medications, look for dehydration or electrolyte problems, or determine whether a dose modification or treatment break is appropriate under the trial protocol.
I would also ask them to check whether something besides the medication could be contributing—such as anemia, dehydration, nutrition, liver function, thyroid problems, infection, or other medications.
Has anyone else currently taking ALTA-3263 experienced increasing nausea or fatigue over time? If so, what has your trial team done that helped?
