Anyone here dealing with peripheral neuropathy?

Hi, Jordan. I'm scheduled for cold laser treatments in about a week. Are you having hot or cold laser treatments?

Good Morning!

This might be a strange question…….
Does anyone get itches INSIDE there feet?
I get itches that feel like they are deep inside my feet and I cannot scratch deep enough to stop the itch.
I get these itches on my toes and on the bottoms of my feet.

Hi Ronnie @grandmar — I haven't had those symptoms but I found some information that may shed some light on what's going on.

NIH – Paresthesia Information Page

MS Trust – Tingling, crawling, burning or prickling in the skin. What IS going on here?

I am scheduled to have laser treatment for peripheral neuropathy in my feet. I was ran over by a car 6 years ago. I was supposed to die. The numbness and heaviness in my feet are the last hurdles. Please share your experiences, thoughts and opinions.

I had about a month of cold laser therapy, going in three times a week. The experience is detailed at the link below.

One thing I noticed about the procedure is that my foot would become really irritated the next day. I can’t say if it was the laser session or the aquaroll treatment directly thereafter.
It could be the fact that the top of my foot, toes to ankle, is super sensitive. It will burn and freeze, and feel snake bit in quick succession.

Hi @arnrob — I don't think you've been ostracized…don't think that happens to anyone unless they are posting advertising or spam which I've not seen you do. Usually if you don't receive a lot of Connect emails it means you are not following any or many discussions or groups. When I look at your profile I only see the Neuropathy group listed but can't tell how many discussions you are following. Here are some step by step instructions for following groups and discussions from the Get Started on Connect guide (link at the bottom of every Connect page in the bottom left column)

I will be saving your informative memo as it will come in handy when someone or somebody gets my interest up.

HI All! I have been offline due to moving – the new internet company didn't get it up and didn't return my calls. I paid an independent guy to fix their booboo (luckily he only charged $50 – could have been worse). I haven't had cold laser – I would read with interest any posts about it. I seem to have plateaued … the medicine I'm taking is enough, I can stand the amount of pain I'm having (knock on wood). It was advancing so rapidly that I didn't think I would live to see May. Really, I came here to die. Now that I'm still alive I'm wondering … okay – what now? Peggy

Hi, Peggy. Today, I finished my second of six low level (cold) laser treatments on my hands and feet (due to chemo-induced neuropathy). So far, it has been a non-event in that afterwards, all I feel is a bit flushed. Is it helping? Hard for me to tell as I haven't gone to one of my exercise classes since beginning the treatments. (Strenuous exercise seems to flare the burning.) I normally keep the burning at bay by avoiding alcohol and taking 800-1200 mg of Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA – an OTC supplement) each day. I can live with the numbness and tingling. I get the treatments from my chiropractor for ap. $40 each. Will keep you posted.

Hi @arnrob @elizabej thanks for telling us about the drop in your emails.
Sometimes your email provider may decide to relegate emails to your spam or junk folder. If you notice a drop or absence of Connect emails, please check your spam folder and add "@n1.hubapplication.com" to your safe list.
