Anyone getting any relief from Tylenol eight hour arthritis pills?

My doctor said Tylenol would be OK for me to take for my very bad joint pain when the medication‘s don’t really do very much at all for me. Anyone out there getting any relief from Tylenol for joint and muscle pain? thank you for your help!

I love the Tylenol for ARTHRITIS. Have not tried the other Tylenols

I took it when I had undiagnosed PMR. It helped a little, but nothing like prednisone.

I take 2 Tylenol Arthritis 650mg daily at breakfast for my RA and Peripheral Neuropathy, with the option to go up to 4 per day, as authorized by my Reumatologist. It works well for me, with no side effects. Check with your Doctor for possible interaction with other medications you take. I wish positive outcome.

@lindaadele I am allowed maximum 1500 mg Tylenol a day, due to kidney issues. Sometimes it works, other days, it doesn't.

I use Tylenol and Ibuprofen together, it works for the pain I have from osteoarthritis, and I used it with three surgeries; here is some info on it. Ask your doctor about it. "It is generally considered safe for adults to take acetaminophen (Tylenol) and ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) together or to alternate their use, as they function through different mechanisms to alleviate pain and reduce fever. When dealing with severe pain, the combined effect of these medications can be more pronounced than using either alone. However, it is important to adhere to the maximum daily limits for each medication to avoid potential health risks."

I take the Tylenol for osteoarthritis first thing in AM , and just before bed. I also wear compression gloves and do tendon glides and range of motion exercises. All for my hands. All very helpful. I am 80 years old and still work about 6 hours daily restoring antique cars and tools.

I usually take 650 Mg 8-hour Tylenol Arthritis just before bedtime and sleep 7 hours solid. I am under a pain doctor's care with an every-six-hour regimen of 500 Mg extra strength Tylenol and Tramadol 25 or 50 Mg as needed for breakthrough pain. I also use a 20 MCg/Hour transdermal buprenorphine patch every seven days for PMR and a congenital, inoperable arachnoid cyst in my brain.
This pain management therapy has worked well for over five years now.

@maryje Anurse who works the hotline at Kaiser that I know advises patients who call for help with pain to take two ibuprofen and one Tylenol as you mention.

Can't take the ibuprofen because of infusions I get for RA only Tylenol for break through pain - so you should check with doctor before you try both together
