Anyone Ever Try Mullein?

Posted by lsm1936 @lsm1936, 5 days ago

Diagnosed with MAX several years ago. Went thru years of albuterol and then saline was added. Cleared a mess of those little critters from the lower part of the lung but still had the cough. Started taking a dropper of Mullein extract each morning. Nearly a year later no cough, no feeling of mucus in my throat and don't have any mucus coming up w/nebulizer. Sleep thru the night w/o any coughing and none during the day. Am going to ask my doctor to do a CT and see how this is happening. Anyone else out there ever do the Mullein? No side effects of any kind. Feels like I never had MAC - maybe it is gone??? I will be 90 in November - still do all of my own housework. laundry, etc. House is 3/2 2300 sq.ft.

Which brand did you buy? Is it third party tested (should be on the label)?

Good morning
I also have been drinking Mullein tea ( make a thermos full and drink throughout the day) and 3x a day the liquid dropper. It helps me to get up mucus , but I don't have much of a cough to begin with. I am rooting for you that your MAC has improved or "disappeared ".
I am very active as well and will continue to do so

I use a dropper to take my Mullein Leaf(Nature's Answer) in a glass of about 4 ozs. of water.
Can you share how you take yours?
I've seen people on youtube fill dropper and just take straight.
Thanks

@sheila7a That's how I do mine - 1 drop in a little water. My cough was so bad it was gagging me.

@crystalena What do you make the tea out of? Can you get actual mullein leafs?? Or tea bags?
I have two mullein syrups , one by Gaia Herbs and one Prime MD organic, they both have other herbs like ginger, elderberry, thyme.
I take a dropper full once or twice a day. I'm too new at this to tell if it's helping, I still have a hundred questions but--- here's one: How do you make mullein tea ?

@grammyvictoria
I have a pkg of dry tea leaves from Full Tea Co (on line) and make it just using my little metal tea thingy in a cup of hot water.
